Some bereaved individuals may:

- Face increased trauma and lack closure in addition to the grief of losing a loved one.

- Without memorials or gatherings, cut off from social support, the losses can seem almost unreal.


- Their grief can easily be UNacknowledged.


- Just because it happened 6-10 weeks ago, and the bereaved person 'seems' fine, does not necessarily mean he/she can't do with support.


The Cruse Bereavement Care is a bereavement center in the UK that has compiled a great number of resources for bereaved people grieving over the past couple of months.
